The Goblin fall-arrester represents a monumental step forward in safety for workers who rely on fall arrest systems for work at heights. To be used on ropes ranging from 10 to 11 mm.
Wear and tear on the rope is reduced to the minimum thanks to the specially designed locking mechanism that lowers the fall arrest force (the force transferred to the body in the event of a fall) by half compared to other devices and locks the rope along a long axis, rather than pinching it aggressively with a toothed cam.
The innovative cam also creates perfectly smooth action on the rope whether it is being used to ascend or descend the line. Switching between the fall-arrest and ascension modes is accomplished with the simple push of a button on the back of the device. Hot forged stainless steel locking components combined with a robust aluminium alloy body for exceptional durability over time. Certified for single use up to 120 kg and for double person rescue scenarios up to 200 kg.

The Goblin Lanyard has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the Goblin by producing the proper distance between the user and the safety line (26 cm long, total 42 cm when assembled with oval connectors).
With the Goblin’s low fall arrest force, a separate energy absorber is not required. The lanyard is designed to be used with two Oval Steel connectors (pag.124) and includes rubber keepers to help fix the connectors in place to avoid accidental rotations or cross-loading.

The Goblin Kits include everything workers need to help ensure the safety of their fall arrest systems using the Goblin (components are supplied not assembled).
The three kits include:
099901: Goblin Fall Arrester, Oval Steel Lock Connector.
099902: Goblin Fall Arrester, Silver 10.5 mm rope 10 m long with stitched loops at both ends, 2 Oval Steel Standard Connectors, Goblin Lanyard.
099903: Goblin Fall Arrester, Titanium 11 mm rope 10 m long with stitched loops at both ends, 2 Oval Steel Lock Connectors, Goblin Lanyard.
